Below is a list of five Reformed catechisms. A catechism is a list of questions and answers that is used for instruction. They are great for use with children.

Catechisms are oftentimes created along with confessions to help people learn and remember the doctrines of the confessions. For example, the Catechism for Boys and Girls and the Baptist Catechism are designed to help people learn and remember the teachings of the 1689 London Baptist Confession of Faith, and the Westminster Shorter Catechism and Westminster Larger Catechism are designed to help people learn and remember the teachings of the Westminster Confession of Faith.

Catechism for Boys and Girls

Baptist Catechism

Westminster Shorter Catechism

The Westminster Shorter Catechism is a shorter and more accessible catechism than the Westminster Larger Catechism. It was designed to be a companion to the Westminster Confession of Faith. It contains 107 questions and answers.

Westminster Larger Catechism

The Westminster Larger Catechism is more extensive than the Westminster Shorter Catechism. It was designed to be a companion to the Westminster Confession of Faith. It contains 196 questions and answers.

Heidelberg Catechism

The Heidelberg Catechism is known for being warm and personal in tone. It contains 129 questions and answers.
