Attributes of God are characteristics of God that define who He is. They are oftentimes separated into two categories: communicable attributes, or attributes that humans also possess to some degree, and incommunicable attributes, or attributes that are unique to God. There is some discussion concerning whether it is truly helpful to categorize God’s attributes into these two categories.
